What is d5: The Next Big Thing?

d5, an Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) event, is designed to inspire leaders and innovators to address current challenges and drive exponential growth in the energy industry.

Themed “The Next Big Thing,” d5 is unlike any other industry event. Game changing, forward thinking, global innovators will speak and lead group discussions that will spark creativity to identify the next big step for multiple industries, through technology, leadership practices and competitive advantages. The 2017 agenda and speakers will focus around Impactful Innovation Throughout the Economic Cycle and leave the audience members with a thoughtful starter kit to lead, develop and change the course for the way ahead.

What's the Agenda for 2017?

This one day event will take place Friday, 5 May, from 7:30 am to 4 pm., at Rice University's Jones School of Business, Shell Auditorium in Houston, Texas.

The agenda will feature keynote presentations followed by 20 – 30 minute simultaneous breakouts for more intimate time with each speakers. The day will end with a wrap up panel made up of Oil and Gas executives who attended the daylong event discussing ways to connect the dots from what they learned at d5 to their companies and the industry as a whole. Attendees will get firsthand answers to questions they want to ask.
